SPARKLES & JEWELS

Choose “width B” for most shoes, unless your child has a very wide foot

Ballet Slippers — Bella SD69 full-sole leather (+1 size over street shoe)

Jazz Shoes — JZ 43 jazz caramel (same or +1 size over street shoe)

Tap Shoes — Essential tap or Mary Jane tap caramel (same or +1 size over street shoe)

LEVEL 1 THROUGH ELITE

Choose “width B or medium” for most shoes, unless your child has a very wide foot

Ballet Slippers — Bliss canvas (child) light pink (same as street shoe)

Ballet Slippers — Bliss canvas (adult) light pink (-1 to 1½ size smaller than street shoe)

Jazz Shoes— JZ 43 (child) (+1 size over street shoe) or JZ 77 (adult) (same as street, up to one size bigger)

Jazz Shoes — Pulse jazz (child) caramel (see sizing suggestions on website)

Jazz Shoes — Pulse jazz (adult) caramel (+1 size over street shoe)

Tap Shoes — TA 04 (child) or TA 05 (adult) (+1/2 to 1 size over street shoe)

Tap Shoes — Downtown tap caramel (+1 size over street shoe)

These are suggested guidelines. All dance shoes are meant to be quite fitted at the toes, especially ballet slippers and jazz shoes, without “room for growth.” We always recommend getting a professional fit whenever possible in person. 

Dance shoes should NEVER be worn outside of the studio. 

Always wear street shoes to and from The Center.

Street clothes are not allowed in class.

Underwear is not meant to be worn with tights and leotards. 

Label all clothing and shoes.

No dangle-y jewelry may be worn in class.

Hair must be pulled back from face in a ponytail for all classes and a bun for all ballet classes.

Shoes........Pink ballet slippers and either tan jazz shoes or tan Mary Jane tap shoes 

             (depends on class) 

Tights........Ballet pink convertible

Leotard......Any solid color

Dancers must be fully potty-trained and no pull-ups are allowed!! 

Shoes........Pink ballet slippers (split soled for Levels 1–Elite)

Tights........Ballet pink convertible

Leotard......Any solid color (Levels 1 & 2); Black (Levels 2A, 3, 4 and Elite)

Other.........No skirts or attached skirt leotards

Shoes........Tan split-sole, slip-on

Tights........Tan convertible or leggings

Leotard......Solid color leotard

Other.........Booty shorts with tights 

Shoes........No shoes, barefoot 

Tights........Tan convertible or leggings

Leotard......Solid color leotard
