We have taken great care in designing a comprehensive and progressive curriculum in all technical styles. To progress to the next technical level, sufficient proficiency at current level must be achieved. Students should expect to remain in a level for more than one year. Proper terminology is incorporated throughout all the levels, and in the upper levels, students will develop an understanding of their role in dance history. We enjoy being able to provide a fun, light-hearted atmosphere in class while simultaneously preparing our students for a professional career in dance or for entering a college dance program, should they choose to pursue one of those paths. Our students are also enabled to secure scholarships with their training received at The Center. Our class schedule and curriculum have been designed with those end goals in mind.

We take great pride in the fact that our students have been accepted and have earned scholarships to numerous Summer Programs including School of American Ballet, Boston Ballet, Orlando Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Joffrey Jazz, Nashville Ballet, University of the Arts Pre-College program, American Ballet Theatre, Patel Conservatory and Florida State University.
Pedagogy Program For our most advanced students who are interested in furthering their training and exploring the option of eventually teaching, we provide thorough and detailed training in the art of “how to teach” (pedagogy). All of our teaching assistants are required to take this course so that we may provide the best all-around dance education for our students!
